No matter what the commodity handled at the port: coal or wood chips, steel or lumber, ro/ro or project cargo, WTS has the right equipment to meet our customer's needs and requirements. Listed below is a partial list of equipment at the
Port of Providence:
- 2 Weeks floating cranes with a traveling, duty cycle, gantry-mounted Model 28 Clyde;
- of 50 ton stevedoring capacity and up to 1,500 CY production rates
- mounted on a 250' x 65' x 12' seagoing barge
- equipped with 32 CY clamshell bucket for granular cargoes
- 11 CY 8 tyne grapple and 15 CY ore clamshell for all other bulk cargoes
- capable of hook lift work up to 155 tons
- 8 Front End Wheel Loaders all with scaled buckets ranging from 4.5 cubic yards to 17 cubic yards
- 3 End Dumps with 35 ton capacity
- Dozers up to 29 cubic yard blade capacity
- Skid Steers
- Fork Lifts ranging from 5,000 lb to 80,000 lb capacity.
